Food and Machinery (shipin yu jixie) is an open access scholarly journal which comprehensively reports the up-to date progress of research and development of food science, technology, packaging material and machine. It has been indexed by various databases such as the Scopus, CSCD, DOAJ, CAB Abstracts, Global Health, CA, EBSCO, Ulrichsweb, FSTA, JSTChina, OAJ, EuroPub, ICI World of Journals, J-Gate, WJCI, Core Journals of Peking University, CSTPCD, RCCSE, COAJ, AgriSCI+, Web of Agriculture, CNKI, Wanfang Data, etc. At the same time, this journal has been selected as a cluster-based pilot project journal under the China Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan, as well as a journal participating in the construction project for cultivating world-class Hunan-style science and technology journals in Hunan Province. In addition, as the official journal of the Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology (CIFST), this publication is the only engineering journal in China that focuses on interdisciplinary fields of food science and equipment, with distinct engineering characteristics.
