Abstract
This review summarizes recent studies on the composition and efficacy of phytochemicals contained in cranberry and describes their antimicrobial effects on uropathogenic Escherichia coli, Helicobacter pylori, oral bacteria, and most food-borne pathogens and the mechanism.
